We are the modern-day scientists.
We achieve success in our careers, defined not by others' expectations or the patriarchal institution, but instead by what we want for ourselves and the impact we want to have.
We use our logic and research and problem-solving talents to solve problems in the world, either at the bench or beyond.
We are feminists and change-makers who believe that when women and under-represented groups are supported, we can make massive changes to the world. Changes that impact human health, education, equality, and beyond.
We know that there is no such thing as failure, only growth in different directions.
We are a community eager to shift the paradigm around what success looks like in science. We support and honor each other and our missions.
We give ourselves permission to be human, to honor the need for rest and joy as well as drive and ambition.
We are brilliant and talented and fierce and kind and connected and loving.
We are not sorry for being ourselves and we know that we are worthy of our ambitions. And we are ready to make change in the world.
